To reference a FileMaker Pro database through the CFServerm hence using CFQUERY tags or CFStudio remote access you need to setup an ODBC connection to it in the CFAdministrator. If you want to query a FileMaker Pro database without using CFserver or Studio you can create an ODBC connection to it through the Control Panel in windows and then query it using whatever SQL GUI you have. I suppose most of the SQL syntax will work though I have never work with such a database. Keep us posted on any particular findings, it might come in handy!
