That's a start. Thanks for everyone's input. -----Original Message----- From: Rob Matlow [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, March 27, 2002 11:33 AM To: Shane Von Svoboda Subject: RE: [CFTALKTor] RE: ColdFusion and the new Flash MX
Thanks, I taught myself flash in a week and put together that site. By the way that is using Flash 5 not MX. Check out http://www.flashcfm.com/index.cfm. As far as books, I never ended up using any since I have access to all the Macromedia courses (I am a Macromedia Instructor for ColdFusion). Hope that help. Take care, Rob -----Original Message----- From: Shane Von Svoboda [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: March 27, 2002 11:19 AM To: Rob Matlow Subject: RE: [CFTALKTor] RE: ColdFusion and the new Flash MX Nice! My knowledge of Flash is quite limited and I have only done the most basic type of movies. Can you recommend any books or sites geared more toward programmers that explain how to create a more dynamic or database driven movie. I'm not an artist so I'm not interested in the advance graphics aspect but more in the Action Script, pulling data and display some thing similar to what you have done. -----Original Message----- From: Rob Matlow [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, March 27, 2002 11:03 AM To: Shane Von Svoboda Subject: RE: [CFTALKTor] RE: ColdFusion and the new Flash MX You can have a look at my site. www.remwebsolutions.com. The flash news bar on the left of the home page is pulling data from a database using ColdFusion. _____________________________ Rob Matlow REM Web Solutions [EMAIL PROTECTED] 519-884-4111 www.remwebsolutions.com -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Shane Von Svoboda Sent: March 27, 2002 11:02 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [CFTALKTor] RE: ColdFusion and the new Flash MX Hello everyone, I have just very general question. How does or can you incorporate ColdFusion code in Flash movies? I know the next CfugToronto meeting is going to focus a little bit on this but I'm not clear how Action Script and CF mix? It sounds interesting. Does anyone have any examples how the two products compliment each other by a combined interaction? - You are subscribed to the CFUGToronto CFTALK ListSRV.
