Yes, I did. Unfurtunately Coldfusion server 5 doen`t find Apache. What I
did was , I selected Other Web servers from the list when I was
installing CF and specified the root directory of the webserver. CF
installed its cfid ,... directory in there.

After installing Apache, did you reinstall Coldfusion server?  That is
probably the easiest way to get it configured and modules loaded in (let
the
CF install script do it for you!).
