Your included meta tag data will show up fine to a spider, since it sees
only the same thing a browser does, all the server side stuff is done before
the spider gets to it.

The best thing you can do is write good content.  Having content that
reflects your keywords is one of the most important things you can do.  If
you have a backend that allows a client to edit the content on their
homepage then they should be given policies and information that reflects
the keyword strategy so that the content they write always reflects the
keywords being used.  This way when your site is re-spidered your ranking
shouldn't be affected by more than 2 or 3 positions due to content changes.

The other is to use text not images, for things like titles and buttons, or
at least provide a text alternative to the graphic.  Also make sure your
page title uses the keywords as well.

These things are all far more important than any trick you can pull with CF.
