Hi Steve We moved our website(www.library.guelph.on.ca) over to CF last fall. It's a work in progress but I've built some app's such as our photodatabase in our Archives section and the "What's New" etc.... We also have a few areas that have links to other website's. One of the big challenges is to be sure that the sites are still alive so I designed another app that checks the status of the sites.
I'm hoping to integrate our Catalogue more with our website in the near future. One of the big things that I like to use CF for is to allow our staff to become more involved in the website, they fill in forms and presto, instant content. We have lots of plans for our site since it is becoming increasingly important for a Library to have a presence on the Web. I can invision in the future where you will be sitting with a wireless PDA or a wireless laptop on a bus or in the park and you'll instantly connect to our website and download a novel, magazine or newspaper or do research. You may also have a reference question that you can get answered in a very short period of time. I could probably chat all day about the possabilities but these are just a few.
