I released CGI::Application 3.30. It's headed towards CPAN now and should be publicly visible in 24 hours or so.
Still, if you have issues with the implementation updates to error_mode() or mode_param(), it would be great to hear about it in the next few days, and we put out a refinement release with little harm done.
I implemented the error_mode() into an app we're building, and it works like a charm! I can now catch errors and send off an email to the developers, while still showing a friendly message to the user.
Previously I had to kludge my instance scripts with try-catch blocks to properly catch errors, but no more!
