FYI - Atlassian.com will provide a free license for Confluence (wiki)
and Jira (issue tracker) to open source projects. Just need a place
willing to host a JVM (yes, java).

Yes, I know, there are free open source Perl analogues in Twiki &
Bugzilla. I'm not looking for a debate on the virtues of Java vs Perl or
free open source vs free commercial products -- just an FYI that those
two products do exist for free, and might provide a good platform (my
opinion only, from experience with all four) for collaboratively writing
a book and keeping track of tasks/issues/roadmaps.

Cheers,
Timo
