I want to study the techniques used in web programming those that involve Perl, Mysql, HTML or XML (depending in what is preferred in the current world). I just would not to invent a wheel, I want to know what the advanced programmers in the web use to make their products: . easy to develop/maintain; . fast; . reliable.
I know that a lot of this comes with big practice, yet as I have learned from our (linux) community, there are good people that do share their experience with others so that our life might be easier. So, I'm asking those of You that would share with me with the best free documentation available on the Internet that might teach those outlined points i nthe sphere.
