I'd like to announce the launch of a little project I conceived a few
months ago:

funnyr.com is sort of a hot-or-not for jokes, or at least that was the
initial idea. It has since become decorated with some Web 2.0
goodness. I wanted to create a site that captures the way people
exchange jokes in person, sort of the "oh yeah, that reminds me of
this one about ... ". I also wanted a clean interface that doesn't
make you wade through heirarchies of joke categories or all kinds of
epilepsy-inducing strobing banner ads.

Anybody can vote on a joke, but you have to log in to add jokes.
Currently all jokes must be approved by an admin (me!). So far
there's one RSS feed, but I'm sure I'll come up with more.

Oh, and of course it's implemented in the Best Framework Ever: CGI::Application!

I appreciate any feedback.

Browse, vote, login, contribute!
