Are you willing to take this project on? Personally I'd love to, but to be completely honest there is no way I have time, I've go so many (non paid) open perl projects to keep up to date that I wouldn't be able to make anything more than a pitiful effort to do this, if anything at all. (not the mention the fixing the Perl mushroom plans and projects that I haven't even announced yet).

I urge you to take this forward. I'm sure there would be plenty of Kudos for you if you do :)
