Today Melody was announced as a fork of the perl-based Movable Type platform. I have been advising the project in part because some of the other group members are interested in refactoring this fork so that it uses CGI::Application and possibly some plugins.
Through my blog post I provide some more detail and links to related detailed proposals about how some of these refactors could work: http://mark.stosberg.com/blog/2009/06/movable-type-fork-is-an-opportunity-to-harness-cpan.html When this refactor is complete, it will be a huge feather in the cap of the CGI::Application community. If you are interested in possibly helping with the refactor, join the Melody community and give in: http://openmelody.org/join Mark ##### CGI::Application community mailing list ################ ## ## ## To unsubscribe, or change your message delivery options, ## ## visit: http://www.erlbaum.net/mailman/listinfo/cgiapp ## ## ## ## Web archive: http://www.erlbaum.net/pipermail/cgiapp/ ## ## Wiki: http://cgiapp.erlbaum.net/ ## ## ## ################################################################
