Ah! Actually, that illuminates a pun itself. I was thinking 4d as in 4th dimension (it seems like you were thinking "for date"?).
Also, parse4d leads to the logical choice of parse3d for a module which parses place names (similar, for instance, to the once used google maps). Both, however, perhaps suffer the fault sacrificing clarity for a clever name.
