Hi Grant:
Shouldn't Mac's Rosetta emulator run PPC binaries on the Intel machines?

That crashing behaviour sounds a lot like what happens if you run a
PPC build of Chandler on an intel Mac, so it's worth double-checking
that you have the intel build. (The app name is the log is
"Chandler_osx_0.7alpha3.dev-r11164-checkpoint20060714.app", but I'm
not sure if the "_osx_" part definitely means PPC).

Hi Mitch:
The bug you encounter on your Intel-Mac hasn't been tracked down yet:

Here's what I suggest you try:
Launch Chandler on your Mac Mini with the Ctrl key down. This brings
up the "Startup Options for Chandler" dialog -- assuming you get that
far before crashing. Choose "Make a snapshot of all data for
submitting with a bug report, then exit". Email me the file it
creates, which I will attach tot the bug for further investigation.
Next, I'd try to install alpha 3 RC 1 and see if it fails in the same
way.
Let me know how it goes so we can find the source of the problem.
