Hi,

This subject surfaced this morning during the IRC Office Hour. Ernesto asked if we have any style guide and coding convention for Python. Markku pointed us to: http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/Projects/ChandlerCodingStyleGuidelines

Reviewing it, I added a couple of lines on strings and i18n (mostly pointing to BKirsch's doc). The subject is somewhat alluded to in a 2004 note from Lisa but this note seems to me out of date now. Bryan, could you review that note (and my recent addition) so that we have up to date comments and coding guideline there on the subject?

For all, it looks like this doc has been maintained on a regular basis in the last few years (good) though it's not a bad idea to sometime take a look at it and see if anything needs revision.

Cheers,
- Philippe
