For auto-tagging, the tags currently used in Xun's implementation are,
indeed, hard coded (that's the slashdot categories). In the near future,
I think we can expand Xun's code to use the list of user defined
collections as a proxy for a tag list. Xun has already implemented the
term extraction part (using PyLucene) and the virtual vector expansion.
So it looks like it wouldn't be too hard to move from a hard coded list
of tags (as today) to a "user collections based" list of tags. Thoughts?
BTW, just as a roll call, who on this list would be interested to
contribute to this project moving forward?
