In other words, yes, running the continuous builds to test/dogfood Chandler will be useful and likely be just as stable as the checkpoint builds.

If you do file bug reports, be sure to note the svn revision #.

Yes. Checkpoint builds are also normally done from the trunk on Monday
mornings. We have QA run tests on them and they post the test results
normally by Tuesday. From that test report you can tell if the
checkpoint build is usable or not. There are no quarantees that the
checkpoint build is any better than continuous builds, but the QA test
report will give an indication how good the checkpoint build is.

We haven't branched for alpha4 yet.
