What about shares on cosmo-demo? Do they need to be migrated? Or are they
safe as they are?
**What you need to do before getting the new checkpoint* * The only safe
migration path will be through a local ics file. The problem is that ics
files save only events, no tasks or notes or emails: you will lose data
in the process. In order to loose as little as possible, follow the here
under guidelines:
How difficult would it be to extend Chandler to include some custom
headers into the ics file that would allow us to preserve all data? It
could be temporarily added to the code and not part of the normal "export
to ICS" menu action (maybe in Test?).
And what about the old shares? Will they eventually be removed and by
whom? I don't mind cleaning mine up myself, just let us know if we should
worry about it or if there will be a mass purge of old shares at some
point.
