I see that as a difference between perf monitoring and reaching perf goals. I think that right now, we are more interested in reaching decent performance overall and get a good baseline rather than monitoring perf regressions. So it's more important IMO that we see at a glance the areas that still suck (perf wise...) rather than those that changed (we're so far away from the baseline that changes are not particularly significant... I mean, seeing a glorious green on a test that improved but is still 10x slower than the baseline doesn't convey the right sense of urgency...).

Once we get to the baseline (post Preview), I agree that switching to perf monitoring will make more sense.
