Hi,
We had a short meeting this afternoon about Chandler's Feature Complete
status. Here's the skinny:
Feature Complete
----------------------
- We have 0 outstanding bugzilla record marked "task" and, as far as we
can tell, all features have been checked in
- The Bug Council is then declaring the criteria met and the milestone
reached
- Bear will be creating an FC build (since we're not done and we're
branching though, this is not to be viewed as a sort of Release
Candidate or anything even approaching... curb that enthusiasm...)
Next
-------
- Devs are now all switching to performance improvment tasks for a 3
weeks period (i.e. till Friday April 27th)
- QA will be using the FC build to test the latest landed features and
will log bugs
- The Bug Council will meet twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 4pm)
to triage bugs
- One thing the Bug Council will do is mark some bugs as "blockers"
- Only "blocker" bugs will be fixed during the upcoming 3 weeks period
- The Bug Council will mark "blockers" bugs that either prevent Chandler
to be used by dogfooders, prevent a feature to be tested at all by QA or
block interop with Cosmo (in particular things that would prevent them
to test morsecode and move toward 0.6.1)
Thanks to all for reaching that very important milestone!
Cheers,
- Philippe
