I was trying to figure out how to capture all the functionality of
Chandler in 5 minutes
or less of speech time. I decided to run our Functional Test Framework
while
describing the different features Chandler has as the suite was
creating new
collections, new items, stamping, configuring accounts, sending email,
publishing
collections, and subscribing to collections. All in all I was able to
show a large
amount of Chandler functionality this way in under 3 minutes.
Smart! :) This is a great idea so to concentrate on the speech, show how
much can be done without fumbling through the keyboard and show that...
we have an automated test framework... ;)
Tomorrow the Localizing Chandler Sprint starts. I am not sure what
type of
turnout I will get as many people are leaving today or are representing
a group hosting another sprint.
Great! Let us know how it went. FYI for would be localizers lurking on
this list (Arnaud, still listening :) ), I did a short partial attempt
at French localization yesterday night (so that Brian has something to
show at the sprint). I'm happy to report that poedit v1.3.5 for Mac OS X
is now fully functional (was such a pain to use before). In the process,
I updated slightly the l10n wiki:

Thanks a lot Brian for your effort evangelizing Chandler at EuroPython,
this is great! (PS: love the pictures)
Cheers,
