Of the ones you listed below, it seems like only the first one is at risk of causing a real problem for an end user. The counter argument to changing it at this stage is that we haven't seen anyone do this in practice.

I'd lean towards "do nothing" -- minimize the code changes at this point.

+1, at that point, if it ain't broken, don't fix it.

FWIW, I'm using F4 quite often (very useful, thanks Morgen :) ).
