We saw some edits from one test spec table appearing on another test spec's table on Wednesday evening. I got freaked out thinking that everything was getting all confused. I had a short discussion on IRC and decided the safest thing was to disable the wiki table editing in all the test specs. I have gone ahead and done that.

I really like the ease of use provided by the wiki table editor. It is much easier than editing the raw wiki text when you are in a large table. If there is a chance that using it will cause the kind of cross table confusion we were seeing, then I don't think the ease is worth the risk.

Jeffrey has a theory that viewing one table while editing another will cause your edits to go to both tables. We are not sure if this is true but something was definitely going wrong. So we have reverted to the older, hopefully safer way of doing things. I regret the extra burden this places on people doing the testing and updating the tables.
