Now that we have the public system, we need to polish up how it integrates into the rest of the site/wiki.

Next steps are being tracked in Bug 10703, but I thought I'd bring this up on the list for help with ideas.

- Where should this page be linked from?
Right now it is sort of buried in:
http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/StepByStepBugReporting

which you can get to from:
http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/ReportABug

Jared mentioned putting it in the Product FAQ. Any other places we should link from?

- We probably need a statement about what we're going to do with the repository -- that we're just using the repository for debugging and we treat the information as private just as we would with any data on the server. I'll draft this.

- Mimi has some wording changes to the instructions.

Cheers,
Katie

Hi,

Not sure if people noticed but Jared just changed the repo submit mechanism (as part of fixing bug 7139). It's now there:
   https://feedback.osafoundation.org/repo/submit

This is a *public* system now. Would certainly be a good idea if we'll start using it internally (QA, devs) and report issues before it's being hit by users worldwide.

Thanks Jared!

Cheers,
- Philippe
