Hi,

So, we're officially done with Preview (0.7.0.1) and, while we're still talking about the plan for the next year, it's time to prepare the next update (0.7.1). We did plan to have a rapid update just after Preview (within a month) and we better get going now.

There are however discussions as to "how much" we should open that trunk and we're still discussing how we should work so that we put ourselves in a position to release more often in the coming year while attacking some big changes (features and architecture). We're not going to converge on that one in the next few days (that's the subject of a bunch of other threads) so, in the meantime, I'd like to propose the following so that we can make progress on non controversial fixes in the 0.7.1 bug log:
- the trunk is open to commit for bugs targeted to 0.7.1 in Bugzilla
- the conservative commit policy use for Preview is maintained i.e.: bug reference and code review required for all commit

We'll continue to discuss the way we work on the "SVN topology" thread and other threads. In the meantime though, this should help us start committing all those patches that have been waiting in Bugzilla's guts since a month or so.

Cheers,
- Philippe
