Hello,
As we approach our first official localizable release, now is the time to have a coordination meeting
regarding open bugs and tasks related to this effort.

Much progress has been made in the last few weeks towards localization including decoupling translatable strings from being cached as fixed values in the repository and reworking the Triage
logic to no longer use static images (thanks stearns).

The major open to task to solidify is how translations will be accepted, built, and maintained
going forward in Chandler.

Other tasks include:

1. Reworking the Recurrence verbiage to reduce the number of localizable strings required. 2. Reworking the conflict resolution strings to be clearer to localizers. 3. Reworking the Send button logic so that it does not clip off screen when text expansion takes place.
4. Rework the splash screen to not clip when text expansion takes place.
5. Adding Localization comments to the Chandler code base to provide context. 6. Folding the Chandler-en localization egg strings back in to Chandler Python code.

The meeting can either be tomorrow (Friday October 19th) or Monday (October 22nd) at 1pm PDT
depending on everybody's availability.

I would prefer tomorrow if possible.

please let me know if you can attend.

Thanks,
Brian
