Your current issue is probably due to a missing gettext related tool
that is missing. Can you tell me what "msgfmt --version" returns -
it should be a version 0.14.* or higher.
via IRC aparna let me know she has version 0.10.* - the Chandler
source tools prefers 0.14.5 and even has trouble with 0.15.0 so you
need to install gettext (on OS X the easiest way is by source tarball
- unless your already running mac ports or the like):
