Maybe, although access to two other ICS files ("US Holidays" from iMac and "San Diego Chargers" from Yahoo!), neither of which requires a username or password, work just fine.
I can talk you through manually changing this shared collection to be read-only until add more permissions-checking logic.
Well, you're missing a noun or two in that sentence, but I'll be glad to give it a whirl. How should we communicate?
