Hi Dierk,
Glad to hear of your interest in localizing Chandler.

Another German translator, Andreas Beisemann just contributed
a localization for Chandler 0.7.4.

The po file can be viewed here:
http://svn.osafoundation.org/localizations/chandler/trunk/de/

At this stage the most helpful step would be for you to
review that translation and provide feedback.

The German translation egg is now also included on
the Localization Project Wiki if you would like to
install and test it in Chandler:

http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/LocalizationProject

We considered Pootle in the past but so far have
found our current process of using the localization Wiki
in combination with SVN to be effective.

Thanks,
Brian
