Subject: Fwd: [chandler-users] Where did my Chandler Desktop go!
Hey guys,
Wanted to follow up on what everyone thinks the best next steps are.
There appears to be a serious issue on WinXP with the Repository
incorrectly reporting that there is another instance running.
https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11266
One possibility is the __repository__.lock file.
But I don't believe that is the case.
In fact on my Windows machine I just updated to 0.7.3 end user and
tried to start Chandler.
It says that there is old data do you want to migrate delete etc.
Regardless of the choice the next step is a dialog with the
repository instance error.
The only way I was able to get past the issue was to manually delete
my Chandler Profile directory.
This error is extremely repository specific.
Does any one have a suggestion?
Should we contact Andi and see if he can be of help?
Thoughts,
Brian

I presumed that was the problem but in task manager there is no
second chandler that seems to exist that is open. This has
happened even after restarting and opening chandler.
Hope emailing you directly was ok!
