Thanks to the advice of Bear and Jared, I've managed to produce a
Chandler 0.7.4.1. This version contains the fix for a bug that
severely complicated upgrades from version 0.7.3.; see
<https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11823>
for details.
NOTE: If you are using 0.7.4 (i.e. jumped through various unexpected
hoops to migrate), this version will require you to reload your
collections and settings again. However, it should do so in a smoother
way than 0.7.4, and should also take advantage of the fact that 0.7.4
automatically exports your data at quit time.

At this point, there are 3 things I could use help with:
(1) Trying the downloads at:
<http://downloads.osafoundation.org/chandler/releases/0.7.4.1/>
and verifying that the various installers/downloads work. Please reply
with which platform you tried: I've done a Leopard Intel Mac build,
and will do Ubuntu (Gutsy) next.
(2) Any new issues you notice in regular day-to-day Chandler usage
with this version
(3) Running through the acceptance tests for this release, at:
<http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/AcceptanceTests>
If you are able to help out here, let me know and we can divvy up the
work. It's probably not essential to run all tests on all platforms,
but there are some tests that should run on as many platforms as
possible.
Once these are done, and assuming all goes well, I'll release 0.7.4.1
officially (i.e. make announcements and update webpages).
