Okay, but if you also had read-write access to the item via a shared collection, then you'd be okay.

Would the Desktop treat the item as a read-only item? e.g. Would it prevent the user from editing the item locally?

I'm not sure how emailed items work, but I don't think a ticket is included. The problem today is that when a user that receives an emailed item publishes that item, they gain RW access to it. The security changes would prevent that.

Hi Randy,

A question came up during out web widget meeting today:

In the new world where we have tickets for items, if an user receives an item in Chandler Desktop via email and then puts that item on the server, do they have read-write access to that item? Are emailed items emailed with read-write tickets?
