Hi Andreas,
UIDL is an extension to the POP3 RFC which the majority of
POP3 servers support.
Since Chandler only downloads messages sent from other
Chandler users, the application needs a way to scan the POP3
Message store and only retrieve Chandler messages.
UIDL provides a unique key for each mail message on the
POP3 server. Without it each time Chandler logged in to
the POP3 server it would have to scan every message
and download all the messages with Chandler Headers
to determine if they had been processed yet or not.
This would be a very expensive and undesirable operation.
You are the first person since Chandler Preview to
report an issue with not having UIDL server support.
What server are you using?

This account runs under outlook, opera and thunderbird without
problems.
The account is from T-Online in Germany
What are, where to find, the informations you need for support?
