Also, a quick correction: After looking a little more it looks like we don't have the sun jvm install on our lab machine, which means we're doing those builds in jrockit too, albeit a slightly different version than the one on hub. I'd like to try bringing these versions in line to see if we can repro in the slightly more flexible lab environment.

In the past I believe we've avoided option 3 due to confusion surrounding the deployment of of Javascript JARs to our Maven repo, but with the smaller corps of active developers (and specifically developers pushing JS JARs to our repo) I'm more comfortable with doing that now. For now I think option 3 is fine but it would be nice to figure out whats going on.
