I've mentioned before that the staff has a quick meeting every morning to check in with each other. We've been doing so on a private irc channel 4 days a week, and a conference call one day a week. Notes from the meeting have been going to a private list. (In both cases "private" means core team members, which includes alumni as well as current staff).

We've decided to try moving these check-ins to a public channel -- #chandler at 11am every week day except Tuesdays. (We'll continue the weekly conference call -- the regular phone contact is helpful for us as a remote team). We'll post notes to this list.

One of the activities we're engaged in is meeting up with a diverse set of people to see if they could help the project in various ways. We'll continue to keep some of that information private.

Cheers,
Katie
