Hi Katie,

Create an event on Sunday, set it to recur every Tu/Th, every 2 weeks, and you see no events on Tu/Th. The week "ended" on Sunday so the next event is in 2 weeks -- which is counter to what the user expects given that the calendar they are staring at appears to start on Sunday.

Anyhow, it is perhaps such an edge case it is not that important, but that was my argument.

Hmm. I hadn't thought of this case, that is annoying.

I was thinking more of an event which starts Saturday, recurring "Saturdays and Sundays, every other week", which behaves oddly if you use Sunday wkst, but like you expect if you use Monday wkst. But you're right that if you're looking at a week view, it would make some sense.

I think it's pretty likely that if someone wants a Tuesday/Thursday every-other-week rule, they'll choose Tuesday as the series start, so I'm a little less worried about that than I am about breaking every-other-weekend rules.

Ah well. Lets leave it as it is (using the locale's wkst) then. If someone actually tries to make an every-other-weekend rule I'm sure we'll hear about it.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey
