OK, another uninvited summary of where I'm at:

<http://www.diigo.com/list/grahamperrin/cdn> is an apparently random
selection of things, not sorted, most of which I'll refer to when I get
around to thinking about key combinations. Should make sense to think about
keyboard-only navigation of Chandler UI at the same time. Gut feeling is
that with the exception of the GoTo… accelerators and the one other in bug
12474: most chosen keys are fine — congratulations!

(I use Diigo in a scribbly sort of way to keep some noise away from Bugzilla
and lists.)

As I waffle through that lot I'll also pay attention to, and ideally fill
some gaps in, the glossary.

Re <http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/DashboardIcons>, which I read
alongside the glossary:

* is it safe to assume that most if not all of the icons may be (for me)
bugged by <https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3772>?

> non-text wx controls don't support keyboard navigation on Mac

If so, not a problem for me. Just so I know what's going on.

A fairly fundamental question: is a vision for Chandler Desktop for it to
be, as often as possible, a single window application?

On a personal note: I should apologise if any of my bugs/enhancements end up
treading on the toes of designers past or present.

So, possibly treading now: the 'feel' I get from Chandler Desktop 1.0.2 is
that the *application* too often selects/displays what *it* thinks is best
for me. Instead of doing what I expect or explicitly select.
<https://bugzilla.osafoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6868#c12>
touches/rambles upon that subject and in points 1—4 there I acknowledge that
the sort of thing I might do with windows (proxy icons) is far removed from
what the masses will do.

Anyway, rein me in at any time if I overstep the mark!

I really should have got myself more interested/involved before the 1.0
release but AFAIR when I tried a preceding alpha/beta, it didn't suit the
type of click-testing that I enjoy. Sorry to join the fun so late in the
day.

Cheers
Graham
