Was your old computer and Intel Mac as well?
No, it was a Power PC, G$.

Followed the directions. Exported to a chex file on the PPC and then imported on Intel and replaced the default.
FWIW, this happens with those items I created BEFORE the switch AND with new items.

OK. I did that once before, but I'll try again.That seems to have worked, except that now none of the holidays show up in the Dashboard--only in the calendar. Is that the normal behavior? (They used to show up in my Dashboard, thus the problem.)
