I'm not sure about tickets; I use the URL to the calendar collection (for example, http://www.example.com:<port>/chandler/dav/collection/c7966d2e-c030-11dd-c372-cbfa7eb0e437). However, lightning (the calDAV plugin for Thunderbird, at least the version I'm using) doesn't play nicely with Cosmo. There are bugs filed with the Mozilla group, and several proposed patches. It seems to be accessible via https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=588799 if you want the details.
