The solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organizations architectural standards. Must be able to support the integration development between SAP and non-SAP applications. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design and performance monitoring. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies in an SAP environment. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 2 to 5 years of SAP programming/systems analysis experience. DESCRIPTION: Enterprise Infrastructure NetWeaver engineering position: The NetWeaver engineering position exists within an Infrastructure/Shared Services organization but focuses primarily on the delivery of high-quality infrastructure designs to support complex applications, databases and middleware components. The NetWeaver engineer will contribute to multiple projects in parallel in multiple NetWeaver Enterprise disciplines as technical leadership or subject matter expert roles. Maturation of enterprise infrastructure and mission critical business processes will be important activities alongside technical NetWeaver systems architecture and project implementation work. *MUST:* • Expertise installing SAP applications on a virtualized RHEL 5x & 6x Linux platform and tuning accordingly • Hands on management skills of at least 4 of the following in a RHEL environment: ECC, EP, BI, SRM, SCM, CRM, PI • Demonstrate a technical understanding of enterprise class High Availability and Disaster Recovery implementations; database, storage and Enqueue replication scenarios. • Demonstrate the ability to think beyond tactical/immediate deliverables to assess and mitigate risks and costs. * SHOULD:* • Should be familiar with virtualization of the DB using Oracle RAC • Database migration experience • Should be familiar with SAP ECC • Should understand the complexities of moving from a combined DB/CI environment to a dedicated DB with separate CI • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to SAN/storage technologies (EMC DMX is preferred) • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to Oracle database technologies (10g, 11g, RAC, OEM/GC preferred) • Demonstrate recent, professional experience in the documentation of existing/legacy systems for which documentation may be absent or scattered • Demonstrate an understanding of some quality/maturity methodology (ITIL, Six Sigma, etc.) *Highly Desired:* • SAP Certified OS/DB Migration expert • Hold SAP Certification for platform migrations • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to JBoss, Web Logic, or other J2EE application server from an installation/support perspective • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to WebMethods ESB or other Enterprise Service Bus technology from an installation/support perspective • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to Informatica (ETL or MDM) from an installation/support perspective • Demonstrate recent, professional experience with automated provisioning, patching, and compliance-checking/-enforcement tools (BMC BladeLogic is preferred, other tools will be considered) • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to Cisco UCS (blades) as a computing platform • Demonstrate recent, professional experience with Microsoft Project • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to HP Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to EMC Documentum • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) components • Demonstrate recent, professional exposure to centralized scheduling tools (BMC Control-M is preferred, other tools will be considered) -- *Thanks & Regards,* * **Nithyanandam P* Techstar Consulting Inc.
