Formulates initial project schedule; maintains project schedule with minor oversight from project manager. Assists project manager in the collection of key project metrics and health/progress indicators. · Project Resource Management: assist the project manager with defining project resource requirements; maintains project resource plans · Communications Management: Supports project manager to execute project communication plan (internal and external); provides status communications and project health/metrics reporting. · Lead a team of Sr Web Developers to develop a retailer facing B2B E commerce website · Work in a fast-paced, agile environment · Design and implement web interfaces · Research and prototype new technologies and designs · Design and implement web-code unit tests · Work with back-end developers to design the restful APIs supporting the web application · Work in all development-lifecycle phases, closely interacting with UI designers, BSAs, test automation engineers, and QA staff · Propose and implement improvements to enhance user experience and client side performance *Skills*: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required · 5+ years’ experience leading a dedicated team of web developers required · 5+ years of in-depth experience developing large, HTML-based web applications required · A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast paced, results-oriented environment required · In-depth experience with key web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML required · Experience with key JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and tools such as Backbones, Jquery, Karma, and Grunt. *Required* · Solid understanding of web development standards/best practices required · Experience with continuous integration practices required · Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate & collaborate with both business and technical teams required · Experience, interest and adaptability to working in an Agile development environment to plan, estimate, design and develop solutions required · Experience with CSS Frameworks like SASS, Less, Compass preferred · Strong understanding of restful APIs preferred · E commerce experience preferred · Experience estimating work effort for complex agile software projects preferred.
