Client seeks a Microsoft .NET Programmer 5 to help develop several projects for the dotGrants application. · Perform a leading role in the design and develop user interface, service tier and data tier components for complex applications, including server-based web applications. · Utilize object oriented architecture to create reusable components for consumption by other development teams within PennDOT · Perform a leading role in the design and development of normalized transactional databases, stored procedures, functions, views and other database structures in SQL Server 2008 · Perform a leading role in the unit, system, performance and user testing of applications. · Perform a leading role in implementing and supporting web applications, including working with infrastructure teams on deployment, troubleshooting and support. · Participate in project planning and management, including developing of timelines, leveling of resources and managing of tasks for quality, schedule and budget. · Meet with end users and technical staff of all types to gather business and system requirements and to provide end-user support for applications in production. · Ensure that the application solutions developed satisfy the business and technical requirements and standard testing procedures have been followed · Collaborates with business and technical experts to ensure solutions support PennDOT’s strategic plan *Skills* *Requirement* *# Yrs Exp* Full SDLC experience developing Web-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. Required 5 Years Top of Form Experience with Web services utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies. Bottom of Form Required 5 Years Top of Form Experience designing and developing databases, database objects and database code using Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL.
