*Location: San Francisco, CA* Job Description: Our leading financial institution client is seeking a Web Developer. Responsibilities: • Leads the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms. Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including Java, Java Script, HTML, JQuery, CSS3, etc. Experience: • Experience with 3rd party libraries for DOM manipulation (jQuery is preferred), AJAX / JSON, JavaScript event model, etc • Optimization: Understands how to fine-tune and measure performance; detect race conditions; debug paint issues, etc • Experience producing cross-browser functional code, promise interface, modular JavaScript using AMD, preprocessors (LESS and/or SASS) • Understands how to write efficient selectors, CSS rule specificity, organizing rules, responsive design approaches • Exposure to web-based mobile UI development • General Web Technologies • Security (XSS, CSRF prevention) • Experience with optimizing pages for performance • Writing/understanding semantic markup • Experience with HTML5 new features • Experience with rapid-development workflow technologies (ie: Grunt) • Experience with version control (SVN, Git preferred) • Accessibility • Understands ARIA tags • Familiar with WCAG 2.0 • Understands best practices *Regards,* *Karan Tyagi,* *United Software Group Inc. * * 565 Metro Place S.
