They are working on a qualified voter registration project for the Dept of State. Dewpoint does primarily web development and this resource must have experience with C#.net/ASP.net development. and SQL or PL/SQL. This role will involve new development of a web application to replace an existing legacy application that organizes and tracks all of the qualified voter information for the state of Michigan. All of the data currently resides in a giant Oracle Database. Dewpoint has the Oracle SME on staff, not the lead .NET developer. *This person can work remotely, but it is highly preferred that they be a former TEKsystems employee or a very solid track record and references if so.* *Additional Information:* *Work Environment:* This is a state agency and business casual work attire is required. It is a highly political environment, so we need someone who can work astutely in that environment. 8-5, flexible. *Interview Information:* Interview with Lynn Nichols and with DCH. *Who is the Internal/External Customer:* Secretary of State, State of Michigan, Citizens in Michigan *Impact to the Internal/External Customer:* Currently the state is running on an antiquated voter registration system. In order to ensure there is not voter fraud and to be able to adapt new programs, they need to get this technology up to the 21st century. *Business Challenge:* The State of Michigan currently has all of their voter information in a large Oracle database with a legacy client server application running atop of it. They cannot take advantage of any of the latest data tools or otherwise easily use this information. *EVP:* The Dewpoint team has extensive experience delivering Project Management and Technical Solutions to clients within the State of Michigan and the greater Midwest area. This will be a very stable position on vital projects for customers, and our person will work with the latest and greatest technologies at a very high level.
