This candidate will join the team and become the co-owner, along with the hiring manager, for building new functionality for a Java based application, written in a Spring Batch framework. This candidate should have an in depth background in Java Development within web services, specficically SOAP and RESTful web services. More importantly, he or she should have a deep understanding of the Spring Batch framework and be very knowledgeable on Oracle databses. This candidate is not a database developer and will also not be developing web services applications. Instead, this candidate will focus on back end Spring Batch development and must understand the data behind the application. This is a completely back end system without a front end UI or GUI. He or she should understand the nature of a database and how it will react with web services. This candidate should also be a self starter, extremely driven, and assertive. He or she will work on a team of 4 and will be the technical lead for all batch development.
