The individual must be a strong communicator, be able to explain technical information in non-technical terms and maintain good working relationships with business partners. The individual must adhere to standards and direction and be adaptable to working within a very large, mature enterprise environment. Knowledge of Splunk searching and reporting for problem investigation, pulling test data and event correlation would also be helpful. The work will be a split between project and service work, with the majority coming through projects once the resource is fully training and up to speed on the work our team performs. This assignment will be onsite for 4-6 months, with the plan to move the work offsite to a State Farm approved facility later in 2015.
