Responsibilities In this role, you will: • Work closely with agile software teams of 5-9 developers. • Refactor/correct/develop the Heat Balance Engine in Fortran 90 • Innovate new technologies that improve thermal performance software and optimization. • Develop test cases that verify and validate customer value is delivered. • Drive world-class quality in the software products developed by the team. • Be responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure • Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse • Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities • Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables • Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results • Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge Qualifications / Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in software development) • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing software • Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing software in an agile or extreme programming environment Eligibility Requirements: • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
