*Job Description:                              *

Wilmer Hale is looking for a mid-level SQL Server DBA The projects are SQL
server migration projects and will require the following skills:

• Experience with The Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit

• Experience sizing and requisitioning VM Servers

• SQL Server 2008R2 & 2012 Server installations

• Database Migration experience

• Database Upgrade experience

• Experience with SQL Server Clustering

• Experience with SQL Server 2012 Always On Availability Groups



*Work Environment:                       *

This person needs to be able to work independently, with little
supervision. They would need strong written and verbal communication skills
with experience writing technical documentation. The project will require
the creation of written deliverables.



*Interview Information:                *

First round phone interview follow by final round in-person interview
(potentially skype for the right candidate).



*Who is the Internal/External Customer:              *

1000 plus Attorneys over 14 different offices. Boston is there corporate
headquarters



*Impact to the Internal/External Customer:         *

This person will be part of a team to help drive a migration that will help
enhance performance of the companies SQL database environment



*Business Challenge:                      *

Currently they are behind their yearend deadline for the sql to VMware
migration project and they need to bring a resource in until the end of the
year to help meet deadline.
