Job Title: Sr. Data Center Engineer Location: South San Francisco, CA Duration: 6-12 months contract Must Have US Citizen GC Holder and H1B Candidates must be local Need seniors with 10+ years Job Description The Global Engineering team is responsible for evaluating, testing and designing solutions for Roche global by transforming the “technology roadmaps” into engineered integrated solutions. The Global Engineering team is present in 4 locations: Basel, Madrid, Shanghai and South San Francisco, covering all time zones with around 100 highly qualified engineers. The consultant service will help the network engineering team in SSF site for specific projects or activities related to network standardization, testing, consultancy and 3rd level support. Who are you We are looking for a network engineer with a deep knowledge in the configuration, implementation and operation of data network solutions: routing, switching, WLAN, load balancing and WAN Optimization. The candidates must have excellent design, deployment, troubleshooting and team working skills. Additionally, they must have excellent customer orientation and delivery focus with good end user perspective, excellent oral and written communication skills (English is a must). We are looking for candidates with expertise in the following technologies: LAN Switching with Cisco Catalyst devices Data Center switching with Arista and Cisco Nexus devices. Routing with Cisco devices. WLAN using the Cisco Controller based solution. Server Load Balancing and Global Server Load Balancing solutions based on F5 products. WAN Optimization using Riverbed appliances. Network Automation and Scripting. Required education and experience: Bachelor degree in informatics or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field. Experience with complex design and deployment projects, particularly in a global enterprise environments. Experience with installations for global/multinational environments. Professional certifications in network technologies: Cisco CCNP (DC, WLAN, R&S), Cisco CCDP, F5 certifications and Riverbed certifications.
