*Role: SAS ABM Developer* *Location: Washington, DC* *Description:* Write detailed descriptions, analyze users’ needs and system functionality and steps required to develop enhancements or fixes, including testing and UAT taking into account best-practice methods Evaluate entire scope (time, effort), and the system impacts of the solutions proposed; Document business processes and system features to be proposed to users; Build, implement and manage data integration processes in SAS Enterprise Data Integration (EDI) environment Build, implement and manage data models in SAS Activity Based Management (ABM) environment Maintain and operate organization’s modeling operations, consisting of executing jobs in SAS EDI, operating the models in SAS ABM, and exporting the data to SAS OLAP and SAS reporting dataset files · Interface with client personnel and IT technical teams at various levels. The support responsibilities require a considerable amount of onsite support and coordination with other technical IT teams in TGS. While every effort is made to accommodate offsite work where it is feasible, the onsite work is significantly a major responsibility of the position. Manage security setup in the SAS and ABM environment · Perform security patches, testing, change management, and adhere to IMF IPLC and SDLC processes. · Provide Tier 2 technical support for incidents and problem management and oversee technical coordination and resolution on tickets (PMR) with SAS · Maintain documentation for ACES system Minimum Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Base SAS 9.2 or higher 5 or more years hands-on experience data modeling in a SAS environment Experience administering SAS and ability to configure SAS to work with multiple data sources and platforms (RDBMS, flat files, etc.) Experience building and maintaining ABM models. Exporting data from models and generating cubes and reports Experience maintaining SAS servers, applying patches and upgrades Strong working knowledge of SAS Data Integration Studio version 4.2, SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2, SAS Activity Based Modeling version 7.1 or higher, and SAS Management Console 9.2.
