Position:Network Engineer Location: Chicago IL Duration: 6+ months with the great possible of extension *Must be a US Citizen or GC or H1BMust have experience in Telecommuication Background* Technical Skills required Demonstrated experience within the Service Provider realm; network engineering or telecommunications support. Strong understanding of Routing & Switching technologies, experience in planning, design & implementation of network infrastructure. Experience and Knowledge of the following technologies: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Multicast, QoS & switching (LAN, VTP, STP, etc…) technologies. Expert knowledge and experience on the following products (Any 3): Cisco 7600, Cisco 6500, CRS, Integrated Services Routers, ASR 9000, Nexus product families. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills Demonstrated industry awareness CCIE or other top level networking industry certification is preferred Ability to technically manage small and medium project sections of large, complex programs. Must be able to multi-task under high stress situations, as well as articulate remediation steps during a multi-vendor customer facing Conference call. Experience in working & collaborating with Global teams. Ability to work successfully as a team member in a cross-functional matrix environment.
